TAIPEI, October 1, 2021 – BizLink Holding Inc. (TWSE code: 3665) (“BizLink”) announced today that it has entered into binding legal agreements with LEONI AG (Xetra code: LEO) (“LEONI”) under which BizLink will acquire the LEONI Industrial Solutions business group (“LEONI Industrial Solutions”) for an enterprise value of about €450 million in an all-cash transaction. The transaction has been approved by BizLink’s Board of Directors, is expected to be accretive immediately upon closing, and will be financed with existing cash and committed financing.

BizLink is an international provider of high-quality solutions for cable connections and connectivity services. BizLink’s acquisition of LEONI’s Industrial Solutions will expand its market presence, especially in Europe, and there is a clear perspective for future development and growth. Chairman Roger Liang expressed that “BizLink’s acquisition of LEONI Industrial Solutions will boost our technical and service capabilities, solidify our global scale, bring us closer to customers, and gain access to new industrial customers. BizLink’s acquisition of LEONI Industrial Solutions will:
 

• Accelerate BizLink’s ambition to become a global leader in providing interconnect solutions across its Industrial, IT DataComm, Automotive, and Electrical Appliance segments;
• Position BizLink to capture and benefit from secular trends within electrification and within digitization across multiple end-markets;
• Enhance BizLink’s global footprint with additional operational scale across Europe, North America, and Asia with an increased ability to penetrate attractive, high-growth applications; and
• Drive greater long-term earnings accretion potential with meaningful revenue and cost synergies on the combined platform.

The company enjoys leading positions in many technologically advanced areas, and has a well invested asset base across Europe, North America, and Asia.   BizLink has a proven track record of completing cross-border acquisitions, including the acquisition of LEONI’s Electrical Appliances business group in 2017 and of Speedy Industrial Supplies Pte Ltd in 2020.
